Information taken from a report produced by independent researchers at Aston Business School NHS staff management and health service quality, will be incorporated into future inhouse Ward Manager’s training courses.
 The researchers’ report is based on the wealth of data contained in NHSstaff survey results.  They analysed how, over time, the experience of NHS staff at work links with performance measures that illustrate the quality of care that NHS trusts deliver. Read more »

Booking out books made simple

Anyone wanting to borrow books from the Staff Library outside normal working hours, can now do so, thanks to a new and easy procedure.  Just complete your details at the reception desk, naming the books you intend to borrow and you will receive a text message next day advising you of their return date.

This should be of particular benefit to night staff or ‘early bird’ users who visit the Library at quiet times.
