This paper describes the history, theory of change, design concepts, and outcomes associated with the development and use of bundles over the past decade. It reflects on what has been learned and makes suggestions for further research and implementation of the bundle approach to improving care.

Expressions of interest invited for Clinical members on Clinical Commissioning Governing Bodies Expressions of interest are invited from secondary care doctors and registered nurses in the North of England who would like to be considered for appointment as members of the governing body of the new Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) that are being established from April 2013. These roles would start in 2012 although the governing body would not be operating independently until the formal establishment of CCGs as statutory bodies in April 2013 when Primary Care Trusts are abolished.

Following the fantastic success of last year’s public art exhibition East Cheshire NHS Trust has once again teamed up with the organisers of the annual Macclesfield Barnaby Festival and Waters Green Medical Centre, to host their second public art exhibition as part of the Barnaby Festival for this year. This year’s Barnaby Festival runs from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 June, 2012.
