We deliver information services at East Cheshire NHS Trust to ALL community or hospital based staff and students. Whether they are clinical or non clinical, professional or non professional, our facilities are available to everyone with a Trust ID badge.
We are a small team of staff, dedicated to assisting our users, working together in support of patient care.
Membership and access:
Free to register and 24/7 access is available on request. We encourage new members to subscribe to our blog or Twitter account to receive the latest news directly to mobile devices. We welcome comments from all our readers and ask that they use the ‘feedback’ option provided on the posts.
Staffed opening hours:
Monday to Thursday – 8:30 – 5:00pm
Friday – 8:30 – 4:30pm
Services:
From our new premises in New Alderley House, we offer evidence search training (1:1 or small groups) within the library or in the workplace; help using NHS Athens; library inductions; free Wifi; manuscript and binding services.
Books:
Members may borrow up to 8 books for a period of 3 weeks – renewable by telephone or email. Books may be borrowed out of hours by using a ‘self-service’ facility. Overdue books are charged at 10p per day.
Printing and photocopying:
This is charged at 10p per side of A4 and 20p per side of A3 (B&W only).
