New books

The Library & Knowledge Service purchases new books and e-books throughout the year to replace old editions, to fill in gaps in subject areas and in response to staff requests.

The following subject areas have had a number of new books added to them in recent months:
CardiologyEmergency MedicineExamsLeadership and ManagementNursing.

How do I borrow a book?
Join the library (2nd floor, New Alderley House) and you can borrow up to 8 books at a time for 3 weeks.  Want to find out what books the library holds?

Search the library catalogue  (from a Trust computer)

We want to purchase the books that you need! Why not suggest a book that you think we should have in the library?
Can’t get to the library?  We purchase e-books to make it easier for our remote workers and community staff to borrow a book. You will need an East Cheshire NHS Athens account to open the full-text of our e-books.
For more information or to reserve a book please email the Library or call 01625 661362.
