The TRIP Database is a clinical search tool designed to allow health professionals to rapidly identify the highest quality clinical evidence for clinical practice.

TRIP has a new feature which allows users to refine their search by clinical area.  So, for example a search for measles can be run and then the results restricted to neurology documents.

TRIP is easy to use and its free to register.

Changes to Zetoc

Zetoc is changing.  If you are not familiar with Zetoc, it is a comprehensive research database, providing access to over 28,000 journals, 45 million article citations and conference papers through the British Library’s electronic table of contents.

With effect from Tuesday 15 November, a new enhanced service will replace the old version. From that date, anyone with existing Zetoc alerts will be automatically transferred without the user’s intervention.  Alerts will be processed as normal from that date.

*Please note – there will be some service disruption from Monday 14 November until the transfer is complete on the 15 November.

This will not affect the sending out of the Alerts as normal during this period.

The new Zetoc beta version can be seen at: http://beta.zetoc.mimas.ac.uk/
