Influenza is a viral infection prevalent in the Winter months, and outbreaks in hospitals and local communities can be deadly if vulnerable people are not vaccinated. BMJ Best Practice has a lot of information on influenza infection, diagnosis and prevention. Read more here
As it says on the new MYNHS website, “Here you can see key data used by the NHS and local councils to monitor performance and shape the services you use. We’ll continually add to the information, listen to what you want, and work to make it as clear as possible.”
Data currently includes that of Hospitals, Mental Health Hospitals, Social Care, Public Health, and Consultants. GP data has yet to be added.
