The fall in breast cancer mortality seen after widespread mammography screening was introduced in the US was mainly due to improved systemic therapy and not earlier detection of tumours, a comparison of national cancer data before and after the introduction of screening programmes has shown.

Our ‘Keep calm and mind your Blood Pressure’ event will be held on the 2nd floor of New Alderley House. All ECT staff and students are welcome to attend and take advantage of the relaxation therapy taster sessions on offer. Sessions are free and last 15mins.
Thank you to all the therapists who gave up their valuable time today, providing a variety of relaxing treatments to East Cheshire staff. The selection of free 15 min taster sessions – reflexology, massage and the Alexander Technique, was very well attended.
