Trip has new controlled trials filter facility

tripdatabase_logoA new filter has been released on Trip for controlled trials.  In total around 500,000 controlled trials have been imported from PubMed and Mendeley.  Over the next few months we hope more improvements will be made and that includes grabbing more trials from other sources.
To use this feature just use Trip (www.tripdatabase.com) as normal and the ‘Controlled Trials’ option can be found in the filter section, on the right-hand side of the results.

The TRIP Database is a clinical search tool designed to allow health professionals to rapidly identify the highest quality clinical evidence for clinical practice.

TRIP has a new feature which allows users to refine their search by clinical area.  So, for example a search for measles can be run and then the results restricted to neurology documents.

TRIP is easy to use and its free to register.
